Lemon Drop Mangosteen (a close relative of the Mangosteen) is a very RARE plant in the UK. I am the only supplier of these beautiful tropical fruiting plants. The seeds have been collected in the jungles of Ecuador. They are easily container grown and will produce an abundance of gorgeous tasty, sweet tropical fruit from a young age (usually around 2 years). The plant can be grown outside in the UK from May till signs of first frosts, when it should be bought inside or overwintered in a greenhouse. The plant itself is very ornamental in its looks, especially when in flower, which can be at any time during the summer months.
NOTE: this is a delightful plant to own, but it is considered a collectors plant, due to its rarity, BUT it is an easy plant to grow and WILL produce great unusual fruits from a young age.
