The following terms and conditions are specific to orders placed through this website by retail customers only, for delivery within the EU. Placing an order constitutes your acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Any information supplied by you will be used only for the purpose of conducting business with you and to improve our level of service. We NEVER pass your details on to any third parties.

When you order, we need to know your name, email address and delivery address. This enables us to provess your orders and to notify you in the event of any queries, or problems with your order.

We can accept payment from credit/debit cards & Paypal through through the online shop. We do not accept cheques. If you wish to pay by bank transfer, please contact us.

Our delivery charges are calculated on the weight of every plant that you order and will appear in the shopping cart before you pay. All applicable taxes are included within the prices. We send all live plants by 1st Class Royal Mail or by Courier (depending on size of order). We send seeds ONLY by 2nd Class Royal Mail.

Please open your package as soon as you receive it. Live plants do not like being shut in cardboard boxes! We water and feed each plant, before it is sent. Our plants are all grown in home-made soils, which differ, depending on the plant species. We NEVER send live plants over a weekend. Please place your new plants in a bright place, out of any cold drafts to recover. If the soil looks dry, give some water. NEVER leave the pot soaking in water, as this wil encourage root rot and can cause the plant to be unhealthy or die.

We always try to inform you when your LIVE plants are being sent on the post, so you can be aware of when they will be arriving. Please make sure there will be someone who can take responsibility for the order. Any LIVE plants left uncollected at the Post Office will not be refunded if damaged.

We supply high quality plants that have been grown with love and care. The plants offered for sale on the website may have been grown from seed or from cuttings. Please read the description and care instructions of the plants or seeds offered for sale. We are always happy to provide further information, if required either prior to their sale or after.Please do not purchase any plants or seeds, unless you can provide for their needs, as some of the plants I offer for sale are rare tropical plants, that may require specialist growing conditions, like overwintering, addiotinal heat, light or other care not described here.

If you are not happy with any of the products you order and receive, please notify us by email or in writing within 15 days of receiving the goods. We do require photographic evidence if the goods are damaged. We will always resolve problems quickly, as we want our customers happy with their purchases. We make every effort to provide written and photographic descriptions of our goods. Any plants ordered may not be the actual plant shown, but similar. All images of flowering plants are for illustrative purposes only, unless the plant has been described as in flower, in which these flowers still may not survive in transit, which we cannot be held liable for,

Retail customers customers have the right to cancel the contract at any time up to 15 days after the delivery of the goods. To exercise your right of cancellation, you must provide us with written notice (email or letter), giving details of your order. This does not apply in the unlikley event of you receiving defective or misdescribed goods, If you exercise your right of cancellation after the goods have been delivered to you, you will be responsible for returning the goods to us at your own cost.

You must take reasonable care to ensure the goods are not damaged whilst in your care or in transit. If you do not return the goods as required, we may charge you a sum not exceeding the direct costs of recovering the goods. Please contact us so we can provide the address to which to return the goods. In the case of faulty or misdescribed goods we shall, after receiving notification, either collect the goods from you or ask you to return the goods to us at our cost or dispose of the goods. We will refund or re-credit you within 30 days of cancellation any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the goods.

The risk of damage to or loss of the goods passes to you at the time of delivery or if you fail to take delivery when tried to deliver, You will own the goods once delivered. We will not be liable for any loss caused to you ne late delivery of plants or other products, or consequential and/or subsequent loss once the goods have been delivered.

Our liability is restricted to the value of the goods ordered. We cannot acceptresponsibility for items which fail to grow due to extreme weather conditions, over or under watering, or which have not been cared for accodring to our instructions or good horticultural practice.

You may save or print individual pages from this website for your own personal use but you may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, republish, resell, display, post or transmit any part of this site without permission.

We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time by posting notice of the changes on the site, If you use the site after any of these changes have been made, you will be bound by the new terms and conditions.
