Passiflora Lingularis is a climbing plant that will produce stunning Passion Flowers, which then when pollinated will produce Edible Tropical Grenadilla Passion Fruit. They take about 2-3 months to mature on the vine and are usually ripe by then end of the summer. When growing from seed it may take 1-2 years before it will flower and fruit. It is best grown in a small container, as this tends to make it flower and fruit better, but also can then be overwintered easily inside or in a greenhouse, It is a tropical vine and will be killed by frost, although may grow back from the roots, if heavily mulched. The seeds have a very hard coat and the use of our Germination Powder will help speed up the germination by softening the outer coating. Normally Passioflora seeds can take 6-12 months to germinate, but with the use of the Germination Powder (and some other helpful tips I will send you) you should get these to germinate in around 1-2 weeks!
