These plants are grown from seed taken from a tropical white fleshed true tropical guava. They look exotic and can produce fruit within 3-4 years. Best container grown in UK, so they can be moved to a greenhouse or near a sunny window in winter, young plants are particularly cold sensitive, but mature ones can tolerate short periods of cold temperatures. Container growing them also tends to keep them smaller, as in the wild they grow into 4m trees! The fruits are deliciously sweet on their own or used in various desserts.
